Weightless ♡
My cozy space to think out loud and make sense of life in real time. I explore psychology, faith, emotions, identity and everything in between. Not as an expert, but as a girl trying to figure it all out with honesty. If you're tired of vague advice and surface level healing. You're at the right place ♡. If you love journaling, deep talks and figuring life out slowly, you'll feel right at home here 🏡💕
This blog post is inspired by a Pinterest tweet I just saw.
It says,
“No matter how old you get, you always wish you started younger, and today is the youngest you can be.”
This is so true.
I want to share my thoughts on it because so many of us want to start something,
but we always feel like it’s not the right time or we’re not in the right stage of our lives.
Then the moment we finally start, we tell ourselves,
“Oh my God, if I had started this earlier…”
I’ve met so many people who feel like they lost opportunities because they didn’t learn a specific skill way back then.
They feel like if they had started earlier, it would have benefited them now.
But I’m here to tell you...you are never too late.
Today is the day you can start whatever you want to start. There is no rule that says you have to start today and succeed tomorrow.
And don’t compare yourself to other people.
Even me, I struggle with comparison all the time😓🤍. I’m always comparing myself to others.
So if you want to start a business, learn a skill, or do anything at allstart.
Start imperfect. Start when you don’t know what you’re doing. Just go with the flow and build yourself from there.
Because one thing I really hate, one thing I never want for myself, is to stand somewhere one day and say, “If I had started earlier, I would have been somewhere by now.”
Think about your older self.
Imagine what they would tell you. They would probably say start now.
Because today is the youngest you will ever be.
As each day goes by, we are all getting older.
Our days are moving forward. I’m not saying this in a scary way, but in a real way. time is going.
If you lost opportunities in the past, they’re gone. You can’t rewind time. You can’t change it.
So just go with the flow. Be where you are right now. Start with what you have.
Because today is the youngest you can be.
