I Thought Leaving Would Feel Like Freedom.

After a month, everything seems so normal and dull... as if nothing ever happened. I am happy, but I feel empty. I waited for this for the longest time... three years and counting. I honestly did not like how I left things. It felt rushed. It felt sad. And honestly, if I could go back in time... I would probably do it the same way. I can't help but blame myself for leaving a toxic environment. I was suffering. Scars have been drawn on my body. Unwanted habits have now become normal for me. I feel restless. I am exhausted. I am tired, yet I feel like I don't deserve sleep. Why, though? I only left because I was tired of being exploited. I want to be selfish. I want to put myself first. I have been nothing but a dirty doormat. My mind, soul, and body crave peace and sleep, but I feel like the moment I lay down, I will fall behind. Am I over exaggerating my grief? Or am I trying to convince myself that leaving was the wrong step? I feel lonely. I don't crave people to intera...

Why Society Criticizes Every Body Type (And Why It Needs to Stop)

Have you noticed how society has

standards for every body type?

It’s like we can’t catch a break, and you can't even be yourself without someone yelling down your ears. It's

so annoying, and honestly, we have to talk about it.

If you're fat, society calls you lazy like you don’t care or don’t have time to work on your weight.

Fat shaming is not cool in any way.

People are literally shamed to the point where they feel like the world is against them and nobody loves them.

And if you're slim? You're called vain.

I’m a naturally slim girl, and I’ve faced so much criticism because of my size and weight.

What I don’t get is, when fat people get shamed, it’s called out as mean and heartless.

But when people make endless jokes and comments about slim girls, it’s somehow considered normal... even funny. 😞

That mindset some people have is just downright stupid. I’m not sugarcoating it 😑💔.

 Slim people are human too.

And they shouldn’t be judged or ridiculed for their bodies not 24/7, not 365 days a year.

And God forbid someone’s just average.

It’s like they don’t even exist.

Society treats average looking people like they’re invisible just bugs floating in the sky. And that’s honestly sad.

What makes it worse is how many judges and critics exist in this fake world, making everyone scared to simply be themselves.

That’s the part that hurts the most.

In a world of black and white, let’s strive to be rose 🌹 gold 🧡 to love and present ourselves unapologetically.

And yes, even though we’ll still face criticism and judgment, we’ll also be loved and deeply cherished by the people who see our worth ♡
