Why does male desire still shape how women feel about themselves?
What would femininity look like if it wasn't constantly watched through the male gaze?
Can we exist as women without being seen as objects of attraction first?
If you've ever asked yourself any of these questions, you're not alone, and you’re not crazy for noticing.
In this post, I’m sharing the real truth behind why men still lust after women, the kind of truth people rarely say out
loud.
Across the internet- Instagram,TikTok, Twitter, Reddit, blogs you’ll hear this repeating theme:
Men are just lustful creatures. All they want is pleasure. Women are nothing but satisfaction tools.
But let’s face the cold hard truth:
That’s not entirely accurate.
Men do respect women. They can show empathy. They have the capacity to protect, to care, to love.
It’s not always about lust. But when lust does happen, here’s where it gets real.
The reason men still lust over women isn’t as shallow as “men are trash.”
It’s layered. It’s biological proven.
But it’s also influenced by society, the media, how women present themselves,
and how men are conditioned to interpret it.
We do live in a world where how we carry ourselves influences how we’re perceived, for better or worse.
Because appearance says a lot about a person.
The goal isn’t to dress less or hide yourself,
it’s to understand how perception works in a world still shaped by the male gaze.
