I Thought Leaving Would Feel Like Freedom.

After a month, everything seems so normal and dull... as if nothing ever happened. I am happy, but I feel empty. I waited for this for the longest time... three years and counting. I honestly did not like how I left things. It felt rushed. It felt sad. And honestly, if I could go back in time... I would probably do it the same way. I can't help but blame myself for leaving a toxic environment. I was suffering. Scars have been drawn on my body. Unwanted habits have now become normal for me. I feel restless. I am exhausted. I am tired, yet I feel like I don't deserve sleep. Why, though? I only left because I was tired of being exploited. I want to be selfish. I want to put myself first. I have been nothing but a dirty doormat. My mind, soul, and body crave peace and sleep, but I feel like the moment I lay down, I will fall behind. Am I over exaggerating my grief? Or am I trying to convince myself that leaving was the wrong step? I feel lonely. I don't crave people to intera...

I Thought Being Soft Made Weak: Then I Read These Verses

Lately, I’ve just been tired. Tired of trying to do everything on my own.

Tired of carrying the weight of life with my own strength. And I know I’m supposed to lean on God, not myself, but it’s so easy to forget.

I didn’t open my Bible today to be “productive” or “spiritual.”

I just needed something real. I needed comfort. I needed to hear from God.

And for a moment, I felt bad like I only run to Him when I’m hurting.

But then I realized… maybe even that guilt is His gentle way of calling me back.

Of whispering, “It’s okay. Just come sit with Me.”

So, I read. And these verses softened me.

They reminded me that being soft isn’t weak,

it’s actually where I find His strength the most.

There will come a time when your tears will fall, not because of your troubles...but because God has answered your prayers ♡

๐Ÿ“–✝️๐Ÿ’™: Isaiah 41:10

 ๐Ÿ“–✝️๐Ÿ’™: Galatians 1:10

Obviously, I'm not trying to win the approval of people, but of God. If pleasing people were my goal. I would not be Christ servant ♡

๐Ÿ“–✝️๐Ÿ’™: Revelation 3:8

I have place before you an open door that no one can shut ♡

If you’re tired too… if you’re doubting, overthinking, or just quietly hurting.

I hope one of these verses touches your heart the way they touched mine.

All is well, even if it doesn’t feel like it right now.

And if any of the verses sparked something in you, I’d love for you to share your favorite in the comments below ๐Ÿ’Œ

Let’s keep softening together๐Ÿ’– one scripture at a time๐Ÿ“–✝️♥️.
