I Thought Leaving Would Feel Like Freedom.

After a month, everything seems so normal and dull... as if nothing ever happened. I am happy, but I feel empty. I waited for this for the longest time... three years and counting. I honestly did not like how I left things. It felt rushed. It felt sad. And honestly, if I could go back in time... I would probably do it the same way. I can't help but blame myself for leaving a toxic environment. I was suffering. Scars have been drawn on my body. Unwanted habits have now become normal for me. I feel restless. I am exhausted. I am tired, yet I feel like I don't deserve sleep. Why, though? I only left because I was tired of being exploited. I want to be selfish. I want to put myself first. I have been nothing but a dirty doormat. My mind, soul, and body crave peace and sleep, but I feel like the moment I lay down, I will fall behind. Am I over exaggerating my grief? Or am I trying to convince myself that leaving was the wrong step? I feel lonely. I don't crave people to intera...

How To Find Purpose When Feeling Lost In Your 20's

Have you ever felt like no matter how hard you try, you just can’t find your purpose?

Like everyone else is moving forward while you’re stuck in the same spot?

Trust me, I’ve been there.

I spent the last two weeks trying to carve a new path for myself, even though I knew what I was good at.

I chose to ignore it, hoping maybe something else would finally click.

We live in a time where it's become normal to have it all figured out.

If you don't, it feels like you're failing at life. Everywhere you look, your age mates are getting wins, and it makes you question your own journey.

You start wishing you had their life, their results, their shine.

But here’s the truth: no one posts their struggles, only their success

What nobody tells you about finding your purpose is that... it takes time.

Sometimes years. And sometimes, your purpose is right in front of you, but you’re too busy running from it because it doesn’t look the way you imagined.

I’ve done that.

I knew what brought me joy. I knew what I was naturally good at.

But because I wasn’t seeing results fast enough, after six months I gave up. I tried new things that didn’t fit. I felt lost again.

And eventually, I circled back to the thing I tried to run from.

So I decided to stop fighting it. Because Rome wasn’t built in a day.

And neither is a life filled with meaning.

If you’re struggling to find your purpose, start with what interests you.

  1. Think about what excites you even a little. Can it become a job, a project, a service?

And if you feel like you have no interest at all, take a breath.

Life isn’t a race. You don’t have to rush.

You're not behind.

 You're just beginning.
