I Thought Leaving Would Feel Like Freedom.

Image
After a month, everything seems so normal and dull... as if nothing ever happened. I am happy, but I feel empty. I waited for this for the longest time... three years and counting. I honestly did not like how I left things. It felt rushed. It felt sad. And honestly, if I could go back in time... I would probably do it the same way. I can't help but blame myself for leaving a toxic environment. I was suffering. Scars have been drawn on my body. Unwanted habits have now become normal for me. I feel restless. I am exhausted. I am tired, yet I feel like I don't deserve sleep. Why, though? I only left because I was tired of being exploited. I want to be selfish. I want to put myself first. I have been nothing but a dirty doormat. My mind, soul, and body crave peace and sleep, but I feel like the moment I lay down, I will fall behind. Am I over exaggerating my grief? Or am I trying to convince myself that leaving was the wrong step? I feel lonely. I don't crave people to intera...

How Men Experience Pretty Privilege Differently

Men's pretty privilege and women's pretty privilege are totally different,

and that’s what I’m going to be talking about today.

Disclaimer: I’m not sexist or misogynistic, I’m just stating cold-blood facts 👁️🖤.

Unlike women, men don’t need to meet an exact level of hotness to be considered beautiful.

We all know men can be “handsome” without even trying 😭.

A woman often has to be slim thick, youthful, have symmetrical

features, glowing skin, no body hair, and a perfect effortless gloss to be seen as beautiful.

But for men? There’s flexibility.

They just need a strong jawline, a certain height, and messy but intentional hair, then boom, they’re hot.

Even if he has flaws like scars, a crooked nose, or a rugged face, he can still pull off the masculine sexy vibe.

But that kind of energy?

 It never works for women.

Personally, I feel like men carry their flaws with confidence and don’t try to hide them.

That confidence builds aura. But hey, that’s just my opinion 👀.

Have you ever noticed?

when a man is attractive, he’s seen as a leader, a protector, or someone who “has his life together.”

Men don’t get sexual attraction—they get influence.

Hot men often move through the world with more trust,

more respect, and more opportunity handed to them.

Meanwhile, pretty women are often sexualized, dismissed, or reduced to decor just another pretty thing.

Especially in business, media, or dating apps:

A hot guy can speak pure nonsense into a podcast mic and people will still say, “He’s got a point.”

He can post blurry pics with zero effort and still get mad matches on dating apps.

Because yes, let’s be real,

The world is more willing to listen to a hot man, and drool over a beautiful woman.

It’s just facts🚨.

Now I know some of you have your own opinions to share and I'd gladly love to hear your unfiltered comments below.
