I Thought Leaving Would Feel Like Freedom.

After a month, everything seems so normal and dull... as if nothing ever happened. I am happy, but I feel empty. I waited for this for the longest time... three years and counting. I honestly did not like how I left things. It felt rushed. It felt sad. And honestly, if I could go back in time... I would probably do it the same way. I can't help but blame myself for leaving a toxic environment. I was suffering. Scars have been drawn on my body. Unwanted habits have now become normal for me. I feel restless. I am exhausted. I am tired, yet I feel like I don't deserve sleep. Why, though? I only left because I was tired of being exploited. I want to be selfish. I want to put myself first. I have been nothing but a dirty doormat. My mind, soul, and body crave peace and sleep, but I feel like the moment I lay down, I will fall behind. Am I over exaggerating my grief? Or am I trying to convince myself that leaving was the wrong step? I feel lonely. I don't crave people to intera...

Why You Don’t Have To Read Your Bible Every Day To Be A Good Christian

So like, one thing I honestly don't get is how everywhere you turn, someone's saying "You have to read your Bible every single day if you want to get close to God๐Ÿ’™"

Like be for real. That's like saying I have to read my science textbook everyday just to have a good relationship with my teacher ๐Ÿซค. It literally doesn't make sense in any scenario, but somehow we believe that's what Christianity is about ๐Ÿ‘€.

Personally, I don't think reading your Bible 24/7 or doing "nice Christian thing" is what makes you a good Christian.

And I really want my fellow girlies in Christ to hear this๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ’… "You don't have to stress over not reading your bible everyday ๐Ÿค" Like, if you're out here feeling guilty like :

"Oh no, I haven't studied my Bible in days ๐Ÿ’”, I must be a bad Christian ๐Ÿ˜ข"

Chill. Breathe. You're not a failure and God hasn't cancelled you๐Ÿคญ๐Ÿฉต

Let's be honest, does not reading your textbook everyday make you a bad student??....

Obviously not, it just means your life is lifing ๐Ÿฅน and you're doing your best ๐Ÿฃ๐ŸŒŸ

If you really want to be that gurl in Christ, it's not about chasing perfection through your works ๐Ÿคท‍♀️--- it's about believing the Gospel ❣️.

What's the Gospel you might ask๐Ÿค”, it's the good news that:

๐Ÿ“Œ: Christ died for your sins

๐Ÿ“Œ: He was buried ❤‍๐Ÿฉน

๐Ÿ“Œ: He rose again ๐ŸŒฑ

And by simply believing that, you're saved ❤️....no requirements need๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ’….

Here's the sweet part ๐Ÿ˜‹ >>> when you believe the Gospel, you receive the Holy Spirit ๐Ÿฅณ, like God literally living inside you forever ๐Ÿฅน๐Ÿซถ๐Ÿ’•

So if He's already living in you....why are you trying so hard to get "closer" to Him๐Ÿซค?

So being a "Good Christian" isn't about forcing daily bible study, constant church attendance and doing good things all the time ๐Ÿ’‍♀️....

Those things help us for sure, but your relationship with God is not built on tasks๐Ÿ’ช.

It's built on trust ๐Ÿ’•. Cuz no one is perfect and we all make mistakes ๐Ÿคท‍♀️๐Ÿ’—.

๐ŸŒธ Believe in your heart and confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord ๐Ÿ’–.

He died and rose from the dead to take your sins away ๐ŸŒท๐Ÿ’•๐ŸŒธ And just like that, you're born again ๐Ÿฅน.

You're a whole new creation. A baby ๐Ÿฃ in the eyes of our Lord, but a soft girl in the spirit ❤️.

With your name written in heaven ✍️ and the Holy Spirit holding your hand forever ♾️๐Ÿ’—๐Ÿ’–

Your status is now: Forever sealed and loved ๐Ÿฅฐ๐Ÿ’ž
