When Death Passed By Our Door
My cozy space to think out loud and make sense of life in real time. I explore psychology, faith, emotions, identity and everything in between. Not as an expert, but as a girl trying to figure it all out with honesty. If you're tired of vague advice and surface level healing. You're at the right place ♡. If you love journaling, deep talks and figuring life out slowly, you'll feel right at home here 🏡💕
Welcome to moments with Jones, personal space where i share my unfiltered thoughts and my unique personality 🩷
So I'm following this influencer on Instagram and she built her brand around self love, natural beauty and embracing insecurities. She inspired others by showing that they don't need to change themselves to feel beautiful.
Then suddenly she got a boob job "just for fun!" and started showing it off, which kinda seems to go against her past message 😕💔
⚠️: Now please note I'm not writing this post to attack anyone💔 or make the person feel insecure💔, or support the person's decision💔.
But before I talk about the fair & unbiased perspective.
I was really shocked and extremely disappointed 🙁when she had her surgery done, and like her whole vibe changed 💔
But, I just want to say there's nothing wrong with getting surgery if it's "truly for yourself" and
not because of pressure or trends.
Cuz if you built your whole rep and platform on being natural and helping people love themselves...you kinda owe your fans a bit of clarity when you switch up.
Like, don't pretend nothing changed. Be real, Talk about it, explain the real reason why.
That builds trust. I don't think her boob job makes her a bad person, but I do think the way she handles it matters.
If she acknowledges the shift, doesn't shame others and still supports people being themselves.
Then honestly? Let her live. She's just trying to figure herself out, like all of us❤🩹
Bottom line is 🌱
We can respect someone's growth without blindly following it.
We can feel disappointed without cancelling them. And we can keep loving ourselves, regardless of what someone else does to thier body.
Now moving to the unbiased perspective ❤🩹
Let's be honest, people grow and change. It's natural for people to evolve.
Maybe at one point they truly believed in staying all natural and now they shifted.
That's not "wrong", it's just human.
She might still believe in self love, but now sees cosmetic surgery as part of the journey.
It's her body, her choice.
Just like she encouraged others to love thier bodies...she has the right to make changes to hers if that's what feels right.
Wanting a boob job, doesn't automatically mean she's insecure and hypocritical - it might just be something she wanted for herself.
But because she built trust with fans around natural beauty and this sudden switch can feel confusing
or even hurtful to followers who looked up to her for that exact reason.
It can come across like she's saying "Be natural... unless you want to look better 🫠💔"
Because it's her personal journey, not theirs. Just like she can't force people to stay natural, fans shouldn't feel like they now have to get surgery to keep up.
Following someone doesn't mean copying them. People can admire someone and still make their own decisions.
Her body choices are about her , not a new rule of her audience.
Remember that insecurities can come back if it's based on others. If her fans allow their self worth to be affected by her new body,
it means they are leaning too much on her image instead of their own growth and that's risky.
Confidence should come from within not through comparison.
The healthiest way to handle everything that's going on is to:
🎀: Appreciate the help she gave when it felt real
🎀: Accept that she's human and evolving
🎀: Keep choosing what feels true to you, not just what someone else is doing💙
Please share your thoughts 💭 and suggestions with me in the comments, I'd love to hear from you 😚♥️
Gist Update 😆😅❤️🩹:
ReplyDeleteShe broke up with her bf🥲...they both wanted different things and it's understandable 🥲❤️🩹. She got cancelled twice and lost so much followers 🥲❤️🩹. But I watched her lastet YouTube video, telling the real reason they broke up 🥲❤️🩹. I feel so sad for her, like for real 🥺❤️🩹.
This girl is literally suffering and hurting and has to fake a smile all the time 🤧🥺❤️🩹. I wish nothing but the best for her, she's so brave, resilient and doesn't deserve what's happening to her 🫠😢❤️🩹
