I Thought Leaving Would Feel Like Freedom.

After a month, everything seems so normal and dull... as if nothing ever happened. I am happy, but I feel empty. I waited for this for the longest time... three years and counting. I honestly did not like how I left things. It felt rushed. It felt sad. And honestly, if I could go back in time... I would probably do it the same way. I can't help but blame myself for leaving a toxic environment. I was suffering. Scars have been drawn on my body. Unwanted habits have now become normal for me. I feel restless. I am exhausted. I am tired, yet I feel like I don't deserve sleep. Why, though? I only left because I was tired of being exploited. I want to be selfish. I want to put myself first. I have been nothing but a dirty doormat. My mind, soul, and body crave peace and sleep, but I feel like the moment I lay down, I will fall behind. Am I over exaggerating my grief? Or am I trying to convince myself that leaving was the wrong step? I feel lonely. I don't crave people to intera...

3 Easy achievable ways to be carefree 101

Is it just me or alot of us struggle to become carefree? It's really tough to be a carefree person, when there's literally pressure everywhere.

Whether it's from society, social media, work or even personal expectations.

The real reason why a lot of people often struggle with this, is because of fear of judgement, failure and not meeting certain goals.

This makes it really hard to just relax and enjoy the moment.

Trust me I've been there. I used to be Soo up-tight, it was seriously unhealthy for my mental and emotional health.

But with time and some lessons and tips, I took from here and there.... I'm becoming more and more carefree.

It doesn't happen overnight though. It takes small baby steps to get there.

Think of being carefree as, just embracing freedom to be yourself no matter what.

Now, let's dive into the tips to become the best carefree version of yourself:

🌸 Stop caring about what others think:

This is a very crucial tip. I know it's difficult for a lot of people to stop caring about the opinion of others.

I don't blame them. We all grew up learning that the approval and validation from others are super important, and plus we're humans... it can't be helped.

I'm just going to be straight forward: You cannot please everyone, no matter how much you try to get validation or approval or satisfaction from someone it's never going to work.

For all you know, the person didn't even acknowledge your efforts. At the end of the day, you'll end up draining your energy literally.

Let's be honest it's really exhausting trying to please someone or shifting their opinion and thoughts about you.

When you stop caring about what others think, you free up so much mental energy.

It's like a huge weight has been lifted from you. You no longer have to pretend to please someone, you can be yourself, take risks and truly enjoy the moment.

🌸Stay low-key and mind your business:

Oh my God, this point literally summarizes my whole life like for real.

What is better than being alone in your personal space, minding your own business. Without the drama and annoyance froothers...liiike!!!.

It's like you chose peace over drama and letting go of unnecessary stress.

Sadly, a lot of people think that being low key and minding your own business automatically means you're shy and insecure, you're hiding something or avoiding attention.

For real?!, please it's a lie... being low-key means you choose peace over drama and you're not seeking validation from anybody.

You are still confident, ambitious and fun in your own calm quiet and content way.

Some people (like me 😏) genuinely prefer to keep their circle small and enjoy a peaceful, balanced life.... and there's nothing wrong with that.

🌸Cut off any negativity in your life:

The Holy Grail to a peaceful balanced life 🤌🤍. This point is what saves you the time from any unnecessary drama.

It is the process of cleansing any toxic bacteria from your life. When you remove things like negative people, habits or environments,

you make room for positive vibes and a sense of freedom.

Remember, self care and self love is not selfish, it's a necessity 💗

Personally, I do not not hesitate to cut of any source of negativity in my life, and I'll dump you or ignore you like trash (Cuz, my mental health matters😩)

It's not always easy to let go of certain things or people, cuz you'd obviously have second thoughts about it.

But once you do, it's like a mental reset.

Of course you'll not achieve world peace in your life, but it definitely lightens the load. It helps you protect your own peace and energy.

By doing this, it makes carefree feel much more attainable.

Now these are the 3 simple ways to become a much more carefree person.

It's not going to be easy though, I won't lie, but the earlier you start the better.

Take small baby steps...one step at a time and celebrate your achievements whether big or small. And always remember to be kind to yourself.

Bonus Tip 🎀

Don't waste your time explaining yourself. If someone doesn't like your attitude or character, let them be. You're too busy and fabulous to care 💗

Don't forget to leave a comment, I'd love to hear your thoughts and opinions.
